Not bad...

now make it harder, here are some tips:
decrease the amount of lives.
make some power ups cancel others out. for example, if i have sticky bat, and i get expand bat, i lose sticky bat.
more levels.
more bricks/less time on each level.
you don't have to use all of these ideas, but atleast put in some of them

the color scheme and the flash from the rings makes this game impossible for me to reach top speed because my eyes are incredibly sensitive. otherwise its well put together, and the power rings make a nice addition to an otherwise played out genre

When i read the description i thought it would be easy. But you took something light and fun and made it challenging as well. Bravo.

That was fantastic!

I have to say you have a bright future in front of you and I expect great things! you have been added to my favorites!
Just two things about the ending sequence, I went back after finishing the first time:
1. the countdown is like minesweeper, after it ends nothing happens, in fact it goes negative, but there is no penalty for not making it out in time. Personally i think the place should actually blow up, or at least white out, and go to the score screen, along with some different text from Mom at the end, i think it would work quite well.
2. there is no difference in blowing up the core or just escaping. I feel that either there should be an alternate ending, in which you are free of Mom, or that the escape shouldn't be allowed until the core is blown up.

Other than preparing your ending for different scenarios the game overall was fantastic and definitely replay-able. The music was delicious and matched the pace of the game well. The style you chose for graphics was perfect and adding dead ends and a variety of enemies made the game challenging and fun.
Also your title could as mean "Kill our Loving Mother". just saying.

Good concept

but there are a few bugs, the biggest being if you leave the store to go to the main menu after a message on the big white board pops up without closing it, it stays open for the rest of the game

ha i love that book, it's really good. and the zombie that jumps out got clicked before he even had a chance to finish hissing. also, 73% survival chance, which is better than i expected. =)

Why are all atheists assholes about atheism?

I really wanna know, cause right now i think of atheism synonymous with egotist, just because you don't believe in god doesn't mean you have to announce it every chance you get. I'm happy that you found your own path and all but i don't need to hear it, you don't hear Christians saying "ha ha i think it's funny that you put that way because i believe christ is our savior!" No? so shut up about being an atheist because all you're doing is creating the opportunity to bring up the subject to push your ideas onto other people, you are just as bad as every other "religion" out there so just shut the hell up already.

Anyway, the flash was really funny, seeing christ put this way is cool (since i believe in him and all) This IS AWESOME!!!!

Meh, not perfect, but good.

Starting out, definitely had that retro feel, but just a few problems, tweaks at most:
1. blue enemies, im okay with range, not okay with damage
2. if they bounce off my ship they should bounce off theirs
3. each power up should increase range as well
4. possibly add rockets after 5-7th power up.
fix those and i think it i'll be great.
