[Missilebreak Outvaders]

Excellent Blend...and a new favorite.

I had multiple nostalgasms during this. i love how the presence of each game can be felt, but as parts to a whole new experience. Everything about this emulates the old school feel (minus the controller) and ramps up the difficultly nicely. Had you made this 20-30 years ago, you would probably be swimming in a pool of cash right now. There is always room for improvement, however, this game leaves very little room for it. Well done.

Fuck the lowest denominator

I by that I mean fuck appealing to the idiots, the impatient, the ones with an IQ
below 100. It's ruining the game industry. You on the other hand, I applaud you.

So what if you made the game a little challenging. i think it makes it all that more
playable. I mean, if it was easy to get all the upgrades, and cruise through each wave as if it were a desert highway, what would be the point of playing it again? you already know you're going to win. While I did feel it was a bit harsh to start all the way from the beginning, it didn't feel unjust. I felt angry, not at the game, but at myself for running into that stray bullet, and it only made me play harder.

Games back then had to be challenging, that's how they kept interest. That's why video games got so big in the first place. Why should they be any different today, just because we have better graphics for them?

tl;dr: Good job man, keep up the good work.

Sorry thats just wrong.

While its a well executed, addictive game, it is by far the most disgusting thing that i have ever seen on newgrounds. You're basically promoting pedophilia. While I hate justin as much as the next guy, this is just sick. Had you made it about anything other than kidnapping children, I would have gladly played through to the end.

Hey I got a bug.

awesome game, love everything, only have a few medals left, and i'm going to be restarting to do the 3 heart challenge. just one little bug I'd like to report, on the 3rd bonus level, Radiant Maelstrom, if i use No legs' bomb just as the long lasers appear, if any of them are underneath me, they still hit. it's the only flaw i have found so far, and it is preventing me from getting that A. Also, NoLegs and Anna are the two best characters in my opinion, and every time i try to use someone else, it definitely shows in my grade. when i used Lance on level 18, I got a C despite not getting hit. same level with Anna, no hits, got an A, with NoLegs, an S. So i think there needs to be more balance in the characters. Other than that, great game, can't wait for EBF-4

P.s.I know it would never happen, but the best combo in my opinion, would be NoLegs main, Lance's Sub, and Natalie's bomb.

excellent, creative way to break the stick genre

however, i don't think that was worth the 9.2 MB download. I have seen much bigger projects fit into much less memory, so i would find a way to optimize your files. possibly using more symbols, that way you don't even have to wait to post the second part.

It shows the mochi games loading bar, the title image, but i don't see any "buttons" to start the game, and there is no music.

there isn't anything new. the achievements are awarded for mediocre performances (they're easy, like your mom). and most of the levels are dependent on your shoddy physics engine. This is nothing like targeted demolition, because the pieces don't break the way you would expect them to. Not to mention that the drop bombs explode with more force on the left than the right. There isn't anything to unlock, its all given to you. A game like this is supposed to make the user think of creative solutions to blow up the structures AND produce the most gore....it didn't matter how many bombs i used as long as i killed everybody i got the gold. Next time you try to copy a great game like Demolition City, make it better, not worse.

i am a constant newgrounder, since like 2008...and i found this through stumble? holy shit....
my only complaint about it is the music, but u have a mute button, so good job. XD

Great addition to a long standing genre

the concept is creative, and makes you appreciate how deadly subs were back in the day. The difficulty ramps up quite nicely, and the homing missiles make it hard to stay in one place. the soundtrack is nice, and complements the sound effects well. Being maxed out on upgrades gives the feel of being unstoppable without being invincible, which is always a plus, because it means that it won't get too easy. Definitely be looking for a sequel, as soon as i get bored with survival mode.
